Mr. Sam Aiboni joined the firm in June 2018 as a Partner. Mr Aiboni specializes in advising major corporations on Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Energy & Natural Resources, Mergers & Acquisitions and Project Finance. He has Global and Operating Unit experience in Upstream, Midstream and Gas Commercial operations including prior experience with the Federal Ministry of Justice, Civil Litigation Department and the National Population Commission Headquarters.
He has in-depth knowledge of legal and contracting requirements in major projects. He is a trained negotiator and mediator. He is a Fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management, certified in Finance Crimes (Economic Crime and Fraud Prevention) and a Certified Compliance Officer.
He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and a Council Member of The NBA – Section on Business Law (NBA SBL). He is also a member of Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), USA, Nigerian Economic Summit Group, International Bar Association (IBA) and Society of Corporate Governance Nigeria.
