Musa Bello is a legal practitioner of over 12 years’ experience in the Corporate and Commercial Space. He specializes in structuring corporate and commercial transactions, company secretarial and board advice, mergers, acquisitions, investments and divestments, high level negotiations and debt recoveries. He advices on family trusts and family wealth planning as well. He is a compliance specialist and has participated in numerous trainings and conferences around the globe and has been a speaker on Corporate Governance

He started his Legal Career with the Lagos Commercial Law firm of Banwo and Ighodalo where he garnered adequate practice knowledge and thereafter worked as Legal Advisor to A.G Leventis Group in Nigeria with responsibilities of providing Legal Advice to over 7 subsidiaries of the group.

He is a Chartered Secretary and Administrator of the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrators, United Kingdom, and Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria in 2003 with Bachelors of Law Degree (LL.B) and proceeded to the Nigeria Law School in 2004 where he bagged a Barrister – at Law (B.L) with Second Class Upper Division.

Further, in 2007, he obtained Masters of Law (LL.M) Degree (Distinction) in International Law, specializing in International Trade and Investment Law from the Universiteit Van Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

He has attended several courses both locally and internationally including the Euromoney Master Class on Drafting Contracts and also on Negotiations.

Mr. Bello is involved in a lot of Voluntary and Non Profit Work and is an Executive Council member of the Institute

of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter.

Mr. Bello resigned as Managing Partner effective December 19, 2016 to take up his new role as Company Secretary of Nigeria Mortgage Refinancing Company (NMRC) where he worked until 2018.
